Excavation on the coast and in northern BC
When the job is up an inlet with no road in, PCE loads the excavators onto a barge and goes. Crews spend weeks at a time on remote sites up the coast and in northern BC.
Coastal and northern projects are where planning shows. Equipment, attachments, fuel, spares, a site office and crew accommodation all have to be on the barge when it leaves.
PCE has done it on the central coast at Rivers Inlet for Matcon, and crews have gone into northern BC by barge.
